Instruction 5 (Fig 6-96) The left foot is brought in to the side, toes pointing to the ground. Simultaneously, the hands push forward, palms facing forward.

Note: In the transition of this movement, pay attention to relaxing and sinking the right hip, avoid raising the left shoulder, and maintain body movement such that it is neither throwing or pushing up; when pushing the hands forward, pay attention to not shrugging the shoulders, to sinking the shoulders and dropping the elbows, bringing in the chest and bending at the waist, relaxing the hips and sinking, qì passing through the fingertips.

Instruction 1 (Fig 6-97, 98) The left hand rotates in to the front, palm facing in. Simultaneously, the right palm is brought in to in front of the chest, palm facing up.

Instruction 2 (Fig 6-99, 100) The left palm arcs down and is brought in, palm facing up. Simultaneously, the right palm rotates out and arcs up emitting strength, palm facing out.
