Posture 15 Zuǒ Dēng Yī Gēn

Instruction 1 (Fig 5-162,163) The right foot is lowered touching down with the heel. The body turns right 45°. Simultaneously, the hands come together in front of the chest.

Instruction 2 (Fig 5-164) Then center of gravity shifts right, the body turns right 45°.

Instruction 3 (Fig 5-165,166) The center of gravity shifts to the right leg. Raise the left leg and kick out with force to the left side. Simultaneously, the hands fā jìn to the sides of the body.

Note: Kicking with bullet energy is in the double opening energy produced in the double closing. When heel kicking, pay attention to relaxing the waist and hips, not bending, and that the heel kicking is coordinated with the fā jìn of the two palms.

Instruction 1 (Fig 5-167) The left foot drops to the inside of the right foot.

Instruction 2 (Fig 5-168,169) The center of gravity shifts left, the right foot is raised, toes touching the ground. Simultaneously, the the left hands in and moves to in front of the left chest, the right hands rotates in and moves to in front of the right chest.
