Instruction 6 (Fig 5-118) The center of gravity shifts to the right leg, the body turns slightly right. Simultaneously, the hands are brought in to beside the left ear.
Instruction 7 (Fig 5-119) The left foot is brought to the side of the right foot, toes touching the ground. The feet are shoulder width apart. Simultaneously, the hands rotate out and push out from the left to the right front.
Note: When the palms are moving to below the ear, breathe in. Then as you push down with closing energy, exhale with a long relaxed breath. As the exhalation completes, the hands push to their lowest point. In both opening and closing, the motion is driven on the axes of the waist and spine, the qi stays close to the spine, the crotch is round and empty.

Instruction 1 (Fig 5-120) The hands arc from the left to in front of the chest (left hand rotates out, right hand rotate in), the body turns slightly left.
Instruction 2 (Fig 5-121,122) Raising the left leg step out with a large step to the left. Simultaneously, the hands arc from the left to the front of the body (left hand rotating in, right hand rotating out).
