Posture 13 - Gāo Tàn Mǎ

Instruction 1 (Fig 5-148,149,150) The body turns slightly left, the left toes point out. Simultaneously, the hands arc out from right to left (the left hands rotates out and arcs to the left side, the right hand rotates in and is brought in to the upper right shoulder).

Instruction 2 (Fig 5-151,152 ) The center of gravity shifts left, the body turns to the left 90°. Raising the right foot step to the the right side. Following this, the center of gravity shifts to the right. Simultaneously, the left hand is brought in to below the right elbow.

Instruction 3 (Fig 153) The right hand arcs out to the right side, the left hand is brought in to in front of the abdomen.

Note: Bend the knees and relax the hips, the center of gravity sinks, the palms and the legs are coordinated and adjusted consistently, the center of gravity exchanges and energy emitted in the same step without interruption.

Posture 14 - You Gen Yi Deng
