Posture 44 - Hòu Zhāo

Instruction 1 (Fig 7-433,434,435) The body turns right, the left hand arcs down to in front of the abdomen from the upper left, the right hand arcs to the right front from below through the left to in front of the right shoulder.

Note: When practicing, the rotation of the waist and turning of the back must be primary. When the body turns left (Qián Zhāo), and when it turns right (Hòu Zhāo), the crotch must be open and the knees together. When Qián Zhāo changes to Hòu Zhāo, the direction of the jin changes. As the hands change from shùn reeling to nì reeling and from nì reeling to shùn reeling, the feet do not move. During this time, the changes from shùn to nì is fairly clear in the lower limbs.
