Instruction 2 (Fig 7-365,366,367) The body turns left then right. With the right foot, take a half step forward, landing with the heel, toes pointing out. With the left above, the right below, the hands rotate in and cross in front of the chest.

Instruction 3 (Fig 7-368 to 371a-b) The center shifts to the right leg. The left leg moves right and up from the left closing inward in the shape of an umbrella. Simultaneously, the hands open to the sides, the left hand meeting in a strike to the inward side of the left foot. The body spins to the right 180°, the left foot dropping in a smooth motion to beside the right foot, toes touching the ground. The hands rotate and comes together in front of the chest.
Note: When the right points out, the body must maintain center, with the hips relaxed. The hands must not lose the peng energy, and provide the conditions for the spinning body. The posture is finished in the spinning of the body which must be fast and complete.
