Posture 9 Lǒu Xī

Instruction 1 (Fig 7-86,87) The body is slightly toward the front, the hands move downward and come together in front of the left knee.

Instruction 2 (Fig 7-88,89) The center of gravity moves right, lift the left foot and bring it in front of the right foot, toes touching the ground. At the same time, the hands rise and come together rearward to the "sitting wrist" position in front of the chest, the palms tilted and facing each other. (Facing East)

Note: The hands are pulled up from below the knee, turning from open to closed. The body must move first and then move back first, the body leading the hands, empty and full clearly distinguished. When completing the Lǒu Xī posture, you will bring in the chest, bend forward at the waist, wrists sitting, elbows bent, crotch round, the whole body together. The right foot will be stable, the left foot a little empty, in a posture for advancing.

Posture 10 Shàng Sān Bù
