Instruction 4 (Figures 9-890 to 893): Shift your center of gravity to your left leg, lift your right leg in a fan-shaped outward motion to the upper right, and simultaneously strike the right foot's outer side with both hands. Then, naturally bend the right knee, and bring both hands forward (facing north).
Note:
1. In any turn involving one leg standing and the other lifting, you must exhibit stability and stillness during the turning motion. The key is to combine the two arms (inwardly twisted, then outwardly twisted during turning), and use the outwardly twisted arms to rotate the body. This is due to the balancing effect of the outwardly twisted arms.
2. Additionally, to achieve stability, you must maintain a straight posture. The key to maintaining a straight posture is to keep the top of your head suspended. If the top of your head does not hang correctly and is slightly tilted, you will immediately lose balance, because the head is at the highest point of the body, and a slight tilt affects the entire body's tilt significantly.
