Instruction 2 (Figures 9-898 to 901): Body slightly turns right, center of gravity shifts right, while both fists rotate inward and arc downward to be gathered in front of the abdomen.
Instruction 3 (Figures 9-902, 903, 904): Body turns left, center of gravity shifts left, while both fists move upward and forward, applying force with the fist, with the fist heart aligned.
Note:
1. This posture must be the final check for Taijiquan's explosive power, i.e., during the coiling process, whether there has been any deviation from the Taijiquan's spiral power; and whether the root is grounded, and whether the foot heel reaches both fists.
2. The power generated in this posture is "tossing power," a type of short-distance explosive power. Tossing power must manifest as if there were sparks on the skin, and must be released suddenly with a snap.
