Posture 4 Step and Kick

Instruction 1 (Figure 9-501): Lift the left leg, while simultaneously rotating the hands outward and upward in a cross.

Instruction 2 (Figure 9-502): Step forward with the left leg to the left, while simultaneously drawing arcs upward with both hands, separating them to the sides, with palms facing outward.

Instruction 3 (Figure 9-503): Shift the center of gravity to the left leg, retracting the right leg with the toes touching the ground, while simultaneously drawing the hands downward to meet, with the right hand on the outside.

Instruction 4 (Figures 9-504, 9-505): Lift the right foot, kick outward to the right side, while simultaneously striking swiftly to the sides with both hands.

Note: The difference between this posture and the 35th form "Step and Kick" is that the former kicks with the left foot, while this one kicks with the right foot. When performing this step, you must prepare sufficient power before kicking, then release it to achieve the requirement of "Prepare and then Release."
