Instruction 7 (Fig. 9-283) Body turns right, shifts center of gravity to left leg, right leg retracts, right foot points to ground, both hands interlock and cross in front of the chest, left inside, right outside.

Instruction 8 (Fig. 9-284, 285, 286) Body turns right, right leg rapidly steps back and shakes, simultaneously, left hand pushes forward, right arm swings backward, center of gravity on left leg.
Note:
Right foot steps back, but does not shake yet; the shaking foot must coordinate with the left hand's extension to form a cohesive force.
Retreat step force is a short-distance supplementary force; it should be soft yet firm; the left foot descends with a Dan Tian force, using the left hand's force to generate a brief moment of force, aligning with the right foot's shaking sound to ensure full body force is complete.
