Instruction 4 (Figure 9-49) Body turns left, hands spread outward, palms facing up.

Instruction 5 (Figure 9-50) Body turns left, shift right weight, hands come together to the sides of the ears.

Instruction 6 (Figure 9-51) Body turns right, shift weight to right leg, pull left leg back to the left side, point the toes, and press both hands downward to the right side of the body.

Note: Whether hands are opening and closing or turning, always use the waist as the axis (body rotation) to drive; when turning left or right, keep the upper body upright, do not lean forward or backward; when pressing hands downward, exhale slowly and deeply, with the breath adhering to the spine, and the palm should be rounded and hollow, with the right hand as the main and the left as the auxiliary. Pressing both hands downward helps greatly in adjusting the respiratory system.
