Preparation (Figure 9-1) Stand with body straight, eyes level, lips slightly relaxed, teeth gently closed (facing south, back to north).
Instruction 1 (Figure 9-2) Slowly lower the body.
Instruction 2 (Figure 9-3) Lift the left foot heel.
Instruction 3 (Figure 9-4) Spread the left foot horizontally to the same width as the shoulders.
Instruction 4 (Figures 9-5, 6) Place the left foot down, center of gravity between both legs, Qi sinks to the Dan Tian, entire body relaxed, focus concentrated.
Note: Whole body stable and balanced, Qi centered at the Dan Tian, breathing natural.
