Note: As to Zuǒ Chōng and Yòu Chōng, what's important is that the feet kick with some power, the hands are coordinated as the strike out to the left and right. Before fā jìn, one must drop the hips and collapse the waist, maintaing eight-sided support. As one foot kicks out, the other one must control the center of gravity, allowing the qì to continue having the intent to sink, not floating up.
