Instruction 1 (Fig 8-173,174) The center of gravity moves to the left foot, the right foot continues by extending for a step, toes turning out. Simultaneously the left palm rises slightly, the left palm sinks slightly. Eyes to the front.

Instruction 2 (Fig 8-175..177) The center of gravity moves to the right foot, the body turns to the right 18o°, the left foot is raised and following the body turning extends out to the front. The left palm first extends upward, then arcs rearward changing to a hook and moving to behind the back, palm slanted upward, the hook to the reard. The right palm circles in then extends to the front, fingertips point up. (Facing West)

Instruction 3 (Fig 8-178 to 184) The right foot steps quicks in, the left foot steps forward. Continue like this for three steps, three shuffle steps. Eyes to the front.
