Posture 4 Liù Fēng Sì Bì

Instruction 1 (Fig 8-42) The right hand is brought in slightly, the left hand moves to the upper right and with the right hand péngs to in front of the right chest.

Instruction 2 (Fig 8-43,44,45) The center of gravity moves left, the hands move downward with lǚ energy to in front of the abdomen.

Instruction 3 (Fig 8-46,46,48) The center of gravity moves right, the hands arc to the upper left, both palms closing together by the left ear.

Instruction 4 (Fig 8-49) The center of gravity moves to the right leg, the left foot is brought in beside the right foot, at shoulder width, toes to the ground. Simultaneously the hands move from the left ear pushing out to the lower right front, the right palm a little higher. (Eyes to the lower right front, face toward the south and a little west.)

Note: When the hands are changing from lǚ to àn, the waist must be the axis. When moving left and right, the body must remain erect, do not bend forward or back. When pressing to the right front, the right palm is primary, the left palm the axis, qì to the spine, the crotch round.

Posture 5 Dān Biān

Instruction 1 (Fig 8-50,51) The body turns slightly right, the hands spiral in and close, the left palm extended to the upper front, the right palm facing up brought in to in front of the chest.

Instruction 2 (Fig 8-52,53) The body turns a little left, the left palm sinks to in front of the left chest, the right palm changes to a hook hand and rises to the upper right, a little higher than the shoulder. Eyes to the right hand.
