Instruction 3 (Fig 5-64,65) The center of gravity shifts left, the hands arc down and to the left to in front of the abdomen.

Instruction 4 (Fig 5-66,67,68) The hands continue arcing to the upper left (the left hand first rotating out then rotating in, the right hand first rotating in then rotating out) and are brought in to the outside of the left shoulder.

Instruction 5 (Fig 5-69,70) The center of gravity moves right, followed immediately by bringing the left leg in to the inside of the right foot, toes touching the ground, the feet and the shoulders at equal width. Simultaneously, the hands pass by the side of the left ear following the body turning right toward the front pushing out to in front of the chest, both hands level with the shoulders.
Note: When relaxing the right hip and sinking, avoid raising the left shoulder, maintain a position neither too loose nor topmost. When pushing to the front, do not shrug the shoulders, but sink the shoulders and drop the elbows, hold in the chest and bend at the waist, relax the hips and sink, the qi passes through the fingertips.
