Instruction 7 (Figures 9-842, 9-843, 9-844) Shift your center of gravity to the right, slightly turn your body to the right, while simultaneously transforming your left fist into a palm and bringing it to your chest, and your right fist downward to your right armpit.
Instruction 8 (Figure 9-845) Shift your center of gravity to the left leg, turn your body to the left. Simultaneously, your left shoulder moves backward and upward, your right fist pushes downward and forward, and your left palm rests on your left hip (facing northwest).
Note:
This posture emphasizes focused energy. When both fists are pressed together in front of the chest, widen your hips, round your back, and allow your breath to adhere to your spine. In this posture, it is easiest to check the "Five Arrows" — whether your hands, feet, and spine are aligned, and whether there is enhanced elasticity in the back of the "Five Arrows," which means whether you can feel the spine is tightly drawn.
This posture is also an exercise for "Knee Strike," with its power source rooted in the right leg's "Twist," pushing the right fist outward, aimed at the opponent's inner thigh.
