Instruction 7 (Figures 9-485, 486, 487) Body turns right while both arms follow the body's right turn; left fist spirals upward, right arm bends and moves forward, both fists meet in front of the body, fist facing inward (facing northeast).
Key Points:
This posture requires many components of internal and external spiraling, and demands that during external movements, joints are aligned and the body is unified. Compared to previous movements, this requires further practice. This posture is easily demonstrated to show the requirement of coordinated, full-body movement. The posture should be round.
This posture involves external spiraling and internal spiraling; during turning and twisting, all spiral movements must reach the skin surface without any gaps. This means that only spirals on the skin can achieve the effect of spiraling. The requirement is to achieve joint alignment and unity during external and internal movements.
