Instruction 3 (Fig 7-694) The arms bend as the hands are brought in to in front of the chest.

Instruction 6 (Fig 7-697) The left foot is raised and brought in to the inside of the right foot.

Instruction 7 (Fig 7-698,699) The body stands erect. (Facing North)

Note: First the knee joint and hip joint bend, following this the body descends, using the breath as the base assisting the coordinatiion of the movement. When Shōu Shì is reached, one is calm and dispassionate, having returned to the Preparatory Posture.
