Note: In this posture, fā jìn is done six times. Although the directions are different the requirement for fā jìn are the same. The first time fā jìn follows the body turning; the second and third time fā jìn follows the stomp of the foot. But before the one foot comes down, one foot after the other is lifted; when the fists ascend the movement is fairly slow, when smashing down the movement must be fast, energetic, and heavy. Following the body squatting pay attention to relaxing the shoulders and sinking the elbows, such that the power of the energy reaches all joints. Do not use stiff energy or clumsy strength.
