Instruction 6 (Fig 6-369 to 372) The center is controlled on the left leg, the right leg is lifted toward the left front. The palms are moved toward the back. Immediately, the right leg makes a fan-shaped move out to the right rear, the two palms move forward from the rear meeting the top of the right foot. Then the right foot is lowered and the hands move to the front of the body. (Facing Southwest)

Note:
When the upper body is slightly forward and the foot is moving, pay attention to relaxing the waist and hips and maintaing balance. You must use the waist as the pivot to bring energy to the foot moving out. Do not attack the top of the foot with the hands. The hands and the foot mutually intercept.

The head is the highest peak of the body, with the upper body slightly slanted. Thus, the angle of the lower body may be large. The key is in the empty hanging of pushing up energy (dǐng jìn). If the pushing up energy is not producing the empty hanging and there is a slight lean, then the ability to remain stable will be lost immediately.
