Instruction 3 (Fig 6-268, 269, 270) The center shifts to the right leg, the left hand rotates in and is placed beside the left ribs, the fingers intersecting the waist with the thumb to the rear; the right hand arcs to the right side at about shoulder height.

Note: As Lǎn Zā Yī becomes a posture, you must adjust the hips, at the same time adjusting the body so that the whole body is coordinated naturally, with the qì settling in the dan tian. As Lan Zi Yi is just taking shape, as the right leg is bowed and the right palm reeling open, the left knee and the left hip must not straighten.
