Instruction 5 (Fig 6-69) Relax the shoulders, sink the elbows. The qì sinks to the dan tian. (Facing Northeast)

Note: When the left knee is raised, the center sinks slightly. The palms reeling down to the right side must be reciprocal to the raising of the left knee, so that body balance is maintained. As the palms descend to the right side and reel together to in front of the chest, it must be done with unbroken internal energy; as the arms cross, it must be with closing energy. Next, when separating left and right, the intent is on the thumbs. At the same time, the center drops slightly, the qì sinks to the dan tian.

Instruction 1 (Fig 6-70) The center turns left, the hands rotate in and sink slightly.

Instruction 2 (Fig 6-71) The body turns right, the center moves left, turning the right toes out. At the same time, the left hand is brought in to in front of the left chest, the right becomes a fist and is brought in to the right ribs. (Facing East)

Instruction 3 (Fig 6-72, 73) The center moves to the right leg, the left leg is lifted and steps toward the left front at 45°. The left foot touched down with the heel. The left hand is brought to in front of the chest, the left fist stores energy, palms facing up.
